chair
I've been a Steelcase Leap truther for almost 6 years now. I bought one lightly used from an office supply warehouse for a king's ransom of $300 and have proselytized about it far and wide ever since.
I've resisted the temptation for standing desks, mostly out of laziness. But now it seems the research indicates that sitting or standing doesn't really matter; it's the inactivity that's killing me. So I remain in my chair.
Recently I'm becoming more aware of the damage that my beloved steelcase has done to my body: hip flexors, ankles. All garbage. So today I bought a wide chair with no arms so I could try and sit criss cross. That seems healthier. Right now it's marinating in lysol.
I'm also hoping that it might have the side effect of drawing Demeter away from my most prized posession, at least when I'm not sitting in it. So far it's not looking good.
